Looks - Feel - Sound

Boredom leads to creativity! During the covid19 pandemic of 2020 B-Custom Guitars was born. Having had 50 years experience as a player I knew what I was looking for in a instrument, and coming from a long linage of wood workers I thought I’d give it a whirl.

For me guitars are made up of 3 main components, looks, feel, and sound. Starting with:

Looks: I wanted something that was aesthetically pleasing yet functional. The carves had to be in the right places to accomplish both, and I needed room to pick, hence most versions are (single) or (hum-single) as a standard. Exotic hardwoods were part of that equation, using Wenge-Paduak-Black Limba-Sapele, to name a few.

Feel: Besides the body carves, the necks needed to feel right. Natural finishes were a must, evo gold frets a necessity. A well balanced instrument was also in the mix.

Sound: Using top components from major players in the industry like Seymour Duncan, Hipshot, Wilkinson, Graph tech, Pappas electronics and others helped in achieving the stability and sound of our products.
